A roadmap has been developed purposely with the aim to list activities to be implemented to pilot research and research-related activities within the Libyan
partners of IBTIKAR, during the lifetime of the project and after and at 3 levels: institutional, national and regional.
The roadmap sets up a series of activities following these axes:
- Implementing scientific research through the equipment purchased or already available
- Setting the basis of the scientific research strategy development
- Promoting the scientific research strategy
- Implementing research related activities
The activities have been defined on three different level of action: institutional, national and regional.

The project faced several challenges in acquiring the equipment, leading partners to explore alternative ways to pilot research and research-related activities. This report presents all activities implemented during the project lifetime including the research activities closely linked to the equipment (once delivered) and all other research-related activities performed by and in Libyan HEIs.
